This is a 3rd career for Brian. After 30+ years in the high tech industry (and several years as a teacher prior to that), Brian went back to school in 2014 to become a Veterinary Technician. He completed the Veterinary Technology Program at the Community College of Denver at the end of 2015 and earned his CVT certification in the spring of 2016. His dog, Jasper, (a Hungarian Vizsla) provided the inspiration for this career change. Jasper’s near death from an anaphylactic shock episode in 2010, and the timely and expert efforts of a team of vet techs and veterinarians who saved him, planted the first seeds of interest in a veterinary medical career for Brian. He is thrilled to be a part of the PCAC team now and to partner with clients in keeping their companion animals in optimal health.
When he’s not at PCAC, Brian enjoys spending time with his wife and their two dogs, Jasper and Gus (a rescued Weimaraner). And in the fall and early winter months, you’ll find him hunting pheasants with his dogs out on the plains of Colorado, Kansas, and Nebraska.
