Dr. April Larson

Dr. April Larson hails from Florida though always had a love for the mountains and wilderness. She has called Colorado her home since 2016 along with her two cats, dog, and husband. While she remembers being entranced by the world of James Herriott from a young age, it was not until college she found her journey to veterinary medicine through medical anthropology, of all things.

She still takes comfort in the simple pleasure of watching her patients grow from puppies and kittens over the years, and getting to know them well. April is passionate about surgery and while mostly performs soft tissue, she has completed advanced orthopedic education to address cruciate injuries surgically.

She enjoys gardening and crosswords though you will often find April on the trails, the slopes, or camping in their rooftop tent.
